France Football magazine announces 30 nominees for 2017 Ballon D`or

CAIRO – 10 October 2017: The 30 nominations for the 2017 Golden Ball are no longer a secret. France Football magazine, which awards the prize, announced throughout this day the name of each of the 30 nominees for the 2017 Ballon D`or (Golden Ball).

France Football will unveil the names of the final three nominees for the 2017 Ballon D`or Tuesday morning.

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese star of Real Madrid, and Lionel Messi, the Argentine star of FC Barcelona, are once again favorites.

Ronaldo prepares for his fifth Ballon D`or trophy, which could equal the five that already Leo Messi has.

Recall that the three finalists of the 2016 Ballon D`or were Ronaldo, Messi and Antoine Griezmann. Ronaldo won that year’s prize.
